One of those days

Have you ever had one of those days where stuff goes wrong. Twos weeks ago I bought one of those Water pic water filters for our tap. We had been using the pitcher you put in the fridge. I thought the tap one would be more convenient, which it is. After one week I had to take it back, because it kept coming off the tap. I know I installed it correctly. Thought it must be a defect in the thing that screws on the tap. I exchanged it for another one. Today, one week later the same thing happened with the new one. Now I'm getting frustrated. Think I'll get my money back and go back to using the fridge pitcher. I don't need the aggravation. I'm rushing to leave for work at noon. Go to clean my glasses and the nose pad falls off my glasses and I can't find it! I need my glasses for work. Can't drive without them. I take the one off Ruth's glasses and lose that one! Now she has no glasses thanks to me. I get one off an old pair and that works, after much sweating and panicking. Get home from work at night, looking forward to a Breakfast Pita with peanut butter ( PC Just Peanuts smooth- new jar) and the seal is broken! NO peanut butter! This is getting desperate. Thank goodness my father is also a peanut butter junkie and bails me out with a large scoop of his. Now I have to return a water filter and a jar of peanut butter and a pair of glasses. They say things come in threes. I hope that's the end of it. Things could be worse. Somebody always has it worse....... right Pastor Patti?

Haha, I don't know, dougie g.

Well Douggie_G, here's to a better day today!

If it helps, I had a pritty good day yesterday. I finally got my summer shopping done, with Kim's help I was able to pick out some new clothes!

well doug... I thought you had to put the water pic on the faucet not the tap itself.

I know what you mean about peanut butter... a life staple as far as I am concerned. Got a good deal at Costco: six - two kilo jars of Kraft smooth for $3.85 each. Should last at least a couple of weeks eh!

Today, I hope that you have three things work out to your advantage.

Things happen in three's ??? That's superstition. We're not supposed to be superstitious---that's occultish.Think about your day again----how many good things happened ? You can have more of my peanut butter tonight if you didn't get to the store today. Blessings on yuh !

Today was a much better day. Glasses are fixed, have a new jar of peanut butter and a new water filter. We're back in business. Amazing how silly little things interupt my routine. I know there are people out there battling things like cancer, that would love to exchange problems. I do have much to be thankful for.
Don g ............. you're the one that taught me that superstition! I'm thankfull for you and your peanut butter! I'm stocked up now. Not as good as Joe. Sounds like he is a serious peanut butter junkie.
Patti! That was in one of your sermons, how there is always someone else worse off than us...Remember?
I'm a grandpa to a beautifull baby girl! See Dans blog for pictures.
Turned out to be a GREAT day!
Thanks God, and sorry for complaining.

I wouldn't appologise for complaining. I think its important to vent every now and then. I've never been the eternal sunshine sort of person. Kim is better at looking at the bright side of life, and I'm better at looking at things from a realistic point of view. We ballance eachother out.

I've relented and repented on those superstitious sayings. Sorry for misleading you in your tender years. Forgive me for that.

Ah, the significance of numbers and what they mean. Good luck, Bad luck, hidden wisdomm and much more. There is a good reason they call it numb...erology.

Of course there is the more popular alternate spelling of numerology but it doesn't convey what I am trying to put across. Why? Because as a child num nums was a good thing.

In this case spelling is everything.
